In 2025, the festival includes a pre-festival on August 9 (Saturday), the main festival on August 10 (Sunday) and August 11 (Monday), and a closing event plus the national Yosakoi competition on August 12 (Tuesday).\nYOSAKOI is a style of Japanese festival dance that originated from the Kochi Yosakoi Festival.
