DESCRIPTION:The Yamaage Festival is a dedicatory event of the annual grand festival of Yakumo Shrine in Nasukarasuyama City, Tochigi Prefecture. It is particularly known for its performances of kabuki on temporary stages constructed in the town center. For each performance, a handmade stage set is assembled, featuring a mountain structure 7 meters wide, over 10 meters tall, and 100 meters deep.
