DESCRIPTION:The Ishidori Festival is a shrine festival of Kuwana Sosha (Kasuga Shrine) held in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture, Japan. It is designated as a National Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property and is inscribed on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage list as part of the “Yama, Hoko, and Yatai Float Festivals.” It is also sometimes written as Ishitori Festival.
