Hi no Kuni Festival 2025
The Hi no Kuni Festival is a traditional festival that colors the summer of Kumamoto with rich local flavor.
The main event, the “Otemoyan General Dance,” features about 50 groups with a total of 5,000 dancers, wearing creative costumes and dancing through the central city streets.
During the festival, visitors can also enjoy stage events in the arcade area in the city center and food booths at Hanabatake Plaza.
