Ibukisan Sakura When 2024
The Ibukiyama Driveway, spanning Gifu and Shiga Prefectures, offers the opportunity to enjoy various cherry blossoms, including Somei Yoshino at the base and mountain cherry blossoms scattered up to an elevation of around 750 meters. Approximately 30 Somei Yoshino cherry trees line the roadside from the Driveway entrance intersection to the toll booth area.
Moreover, at Hirata Park and the cherry blossom-lined Okukubigawa (Hirata Ubumi Road), you can appreciate cherry blossoms twice, as they bloom at different times.
The Ibukiyama Driveway is scheduled to open for the 2023 season on April 15th (Saturday).
