Senjojiki Cirque Autumn leaves When 2024

The autumn foliage in Senjojiki Curl (Komagane City, Nagano Prefecture) is typically at its peak from late September to early October. The coloring of the Japanese Judas trees (Dakekanba) and rowan trees (Nanakamado) begins in early September, reaching its peak from late September to mid-October.

Within Senjojiki Curl, the progression of autumn foliage can be enjoyed in the following order: from the view through the ropeway, the Shirabi Plateau area, to the scenery along the bus route. The foliage gradually advances until late November, culminating around the Komagane Kogen Suganodai area.

Senjojiki Curl is accessible by ropeway, providing stunning views through the cable car windows. Inside the Senjojiki Curl at an elevation of 2,612 meters, there are walking paths, and it takes approximately 40 minutes to complete the circuit. The autumn foliage spectacle can be enjoyed until the end of November.
