Launched in 2006 as part of the 50th anniversary of foreign film dubbing, the “Voice Actor Live Performance” event began with the call of voice actor Michio Hazama, featuring Masako Nozawa and Koichi Yamadera. Now in its 19th year, this innovative live event showcases silent film classics with live dubbing by veteran and emerging voice actors, accompanied by live music performances.

This year’s event, led by the 90-year-old active voice actor Michio Hazama (Project and General Producer), will bring together legendary and popular voice actors. They will perform live dubbing of classic films by Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton, showcasing their exceptional skills in a truly “serious competition.”

Witness flawless live dubbing without any mistakes or timing issues, akin to adding color to black-and-white films. Enjoy remarkable performances, including character interactions and single-actor multi-character portrayals, as well as special talk shows by the performers.
