50th Anniversary Hana to Yume Exhibition 2024

The shojo manga magazine “Hana to Yume,” which celebrates its 50th anniversary in May 2024, has been beloved by readers spanning from the parent generation (former readers) to the child generation (current readers), and even reaching the next generation. With numerous masterpieces to its name, this magazine has become a bible for its readers, continuing to exert significant influence on society.

This exhibition will showcase approximately 200 beautiful original artworks from about 70 artists, ranging from past contributors like Suzue Miuchi’s “Glass Mask” to current popular authors like Mizuho Kusanagi’s “Yona of the Dawn,” who have adorned the pages of “Hana to Yume.” With the keyword “Party” commemorating the 50th anniversary, visitors can enjoy the world of shojo manga carved out by “Hana to Yume” works and experience the multitude of emotions and thrills delivered to readers over the years.
