Acosta in Ikebukuro Sunshine City International Conference Center 2024

Acosta (acosta!) is a cosplay event organized by “Hacosta,” a company that operates cosplay studios. The event is held nationwide in various facilities and parks across regions such as Kanto, Kansai, Nagoya, and Fukuoka, with Acosta Ikebukuro (at Ikebukuro Sunshine City) occurring approximately once a month.

Acosta events mainly take place in Tokyo (Ikebukuro), Saitama, Osaka, and Kyoto. At Acosta Ikebukuro (at Ikebukuro Sunshine City), participants use Sunshine City as a changing area and partial photography zone, with the event also featuring outdoor and city-area activities. Additionally, the “Ultra acosta!” event includes a special stage within Sunshine City, offering enjoyment even for those not cosplaying.

Acosta’s etiquette includes using stockings and body foundation to minimize skin exposure. Participants are also asked to wear jackets or scarves as an additional measure to cover up when not taking photos.
