Bocchi the Rock! Exhibition 2025 Tokyo: Asakusa Venue
“Bocchi the Rock!” is a popular four-panel manga by Aki Hamaji, serialized in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara MAX. It was adapted into a TV anime in October 2022 and quickly gained explosive popularity, especially among young people. The series has received multiple awards and a compilation film was announced for 2024, making a significant impact both in Japan and worldwide.
This exhibition traces the journey of introverted girl Hitori Gotoh as she joins the band “Kessoku Band” and grows alongside the unique members Nijika Ijichi, Ryo Yamada, and Ikuyo Kita. Visitors can immerse themselves in the anime world through displays of exclusive illustrations, recreated scenes like the live house “STARRY,” and special performances featuring music from the anime.
