Hirosaki Neputa Festival 2025
The Hirosaki Neputa Festival is held in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture. It is counted as one of the “Four Major Festivals of Hirosaki,” alongside the Hirosaki Cherry Blossom Festival, Hirosaki Castle Chrysanthemum and Autumn Leaves Festival, and Hirosaki Castle Snow Lantern Festival. Many citizens pull warlord-illustrated floats through the city, shouting “Ya-ya-do” in unison.
