National Fireworks Competition 2025 (Ōmagari Fireworks)
The National Fireworks Competition is held annually on the last Saturday of August at the Omono Riverbed Sports Park in Daisen City, Akita Prefecture. Because Daisen City was formerly known as Ōmagari City, the event is commonly referred to as the “Ōmagari Fireworks.” It is considered one of Japan’s “Three Great Fireworks Festivals” and one of the top three fireworks competitions in the country.
