Yoshida Fire Festival & Susuki Festival 2025
One of Japan’s Three Great Eccentric Festivals.
The Yoshida Fire Festival (Chinka-sai) is jointly held by Kitaguchi Hongu Fuji Sengen Shrine and Suwa Shrine every year on August 26 and 27. With a history of over 450 years, this grand event is a symbol of Fujiyoshida and is recognized as one of Japan’s Three Great Eccentric Festivals and one of the Top 10 Fire Festivals in the country.
