Fujinomiya Festival 2025
The Fujinomiya Festival is an annual autumn celebration held in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture, from November 3 to 5. During the festival, 20 neighborhood groups perform lively festival music, parading ornate floats and festival stalls through the city to give thanks for the harvest and a safe year.
This event has long been held as the autumn grand festival of Fujisan Hongū Sengen Taisha Shrine. The Fujinomiya Hayashi music performed during the festival is designated an Intangible Cultural Property of Shizuoka Prefecture, and the float procession is a spectacular sight.
