Minori Chihara, known for roles such as Yuki Nagato in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Mei Hatsume in My Hero Academia, has appeared in numerous popular anime works. Besides voice acting, she is also an active artist with songs like “Michishirube” (Guidepost), the theme for the Violet Evergarden series. This marks her first appearance at billboard classics.
The venue is the Stella Theater at Lake Kawaguchi, Yamanashi Prefecture. Since opening in 1995, the theater has inspired many through resident-participation music festivals and performances by top domestic and international artists. Chihara has held annual concerts here since 2009, holding one of the highest number of performances at this venue. This full orchestra concert is part of the 30th anniversary celebration of the Stella Theater’s opening.
Under the skies of Lake Kawaguchi, at the foot of Mt. Fuji, enjoy a new harmony created by Minori Chihara’s singing voice and the magnificent performance of the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra.
