The story follows a mysterious clock tower that, despite being unbroken,
has stopped at 11:59,
and the strange otherworld “Millennium Fortress,”
which governs the flow of time.
Rubitch, a boy who has lost his beloved friend Poupelle
and nearly given up on ever meeting him again,
takes on the mission of “restarting the stopped clock tower.”
Through this journey, he regains the courage to believe once more.
His encounter with a man who has kept a promise for 100 years
sets a miracle in motion,
causing the frozen time to move again.
