2024 Monster Hunter 20th Anniversary Orchestra Concert ~Big Hunting Music Festival~ Sapporo Venue

“The Hunting Music Festival” originated as a celebration of the 5th anniversary of the “Monster Hunter” (hereinafter referred to as “MonHun”) series, with the first event held in 2009. Since 2014, it has become an annual tradition, and in 2019, marking the series’ 15th anniversary, the festival expanded to five cities across Japan.

Now, in honor of the 20th anniversary of the “MonHun” series, the “Great Hunting Music Festival” is set to take place in four cities: Tokyo, Fukuoka, Sapporo, and Osaka. Notably, the Tokyo event will introduce a new feature by hosting two performances in a single day, a first for the “Hunting Music Festival.” The Tokyo daytime performance, known as the “Daytime Sound Hunt Quest,” and the Tokyo nighttime performance, titled the “Nighttime Sound Hunt Quest,” each offer unique and distinctive programs. Fukuoka, Sapporo, and Osaka will each host one performance. While the Tokyo performances will share some content, the original setlist has been curated to cater to the specific preferences of each hosting city.

Conducting the Tokyo performances for the 11th consecutive year since 2014 is Maestro Hirofumi Kurita, who has been at the helm of the “Hunting Music Festival.” The Tokyo performances will be orchestrated by the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra.
