Aizu Tajima Gion Festival 2025

The Aizu Tajima Gion Festival is a traditional festival held in the Tajima area of Minamiaizu Town, Fukushima Prefecture. It takes place annually from July 22 to 24. It is counted among Japan’s three major Gion festivals and is designated as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Asset by the Japanese government. The festival’s highlight, the “Shichigyoki Parade,” known as the bride procession, draws many tourists.
