Aokabi Saya “Mille crepe 2” Exhibition 2025
This exhibition showcases and sells around 16 new works by Aokabi Saya. Influenced by 1990s Japanese commercial animation, Aokabi’s artworks are characterized by exceptional technique. The paired pieces “Pettan” and the “Outline” series, which omit outlines, explore the intriguing autonomy of images beyond the artist’s control. Meanwhile, the “Process” series deliberately includes drafts and line art to visualize the creative process, encouraging viewers to share in the visual information and question the essence of illustration. Commemorative merchandise will also be available for purchase. We hope you enjoy this unique exhibition.
