Ashikaga Fireworks Festival 2025
The Ashikaga Fireworks Festival is the grand summer finale for the city of Ashikaga. First held in 1903 (Meiji 36), this historic event boasts one of the largest scales in the Kanto region. It’s so popular that it has earned the nickname “Evening Cool for 500,000 People.”
Around 20,000 fireworks—including aerial shells, giant bursts, wide starmine displays, and a massive Niagara-style waterfall show—will light up the sky.
In addition, the 3rd Young Young Summer Festival will take place over the same two days, August 1 (Thu) and 2 (Fri), featuring a haunted house, festival games, and pro wrestling events.
