Aso Kuju National Park Autumn leaves when 2024
In the Kuju Mountains within the Aso Kuju National Park, the autumn foliage typically reaches its peak from late October to mid-November each year. These mountains, with the main peak being the 1,791-meter-high Nakadake, include prominent peaks like Daibosatsu and Kuju, making it the highest mountain range in Kyushu.
Furthermore, at the Matueishi Ochaya Atowa located in Aso City, the autumn foliage season usually occurs from mid-October to early November. The natural and vibrant colors of gingko trees and evergreens adorn the park, creating a picturesque scene. Visitors can also enjoy the breathtaking view of autumn leaves reflecting on the surface of the spring water within the park.
