Bukeyashiki Autumn leaves When 2024
The best time to view autumn leaves in the Aizu Samurai Residences is from late October to early November. Centered around the former residence of Aizu Clan’s senior retainer, Saigo Yorimochi, you can find historical buildings such as the former Nakahata Jin’ya (local government office), the clan’s rice polishing facility, and the Aizu History Museum.
The surrounding areas of Aizu are also adorned with autumn colors from mid-October to early November. The mountains encircling the Aizu Plain turn into a beautiful display of red hues.
The operating hours for the Aizu Samurai Residences are from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and they remain open without closure during the year-end and New Year holidays.
