Creator of Animation Art: New Nizo Yamamoto Exhibition 2025 in Sapporo
Nizo Yamamoto (1953–2023) served as art director for numerous beloved national animation films and helped elevate Japanese animation into a world-renowned cultural art form. This exhibition showcases around 220 works, including hand-painted background art from early to late career, previously unreleased art settings, image boards, and production tools, offering a deep dive into Yamamoto’s background art world.
