DOZEN ROSE FES 2024

Comic City is a doujinshi (self-published works) sales event organized by Aka-Booboo Tsushinsha (Kei Corporation). It was previously co-hosted by multiple doujinshi printing companies. Held approximately 20 times a year in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka, it is the largest event of its kind in Osaka and Fukuoka. Due to the reasons mentioned below, the Tokyo and Osaka events are predominantly attended by female circles presenting works targeted at women.

Kei Corporation, the main organizer, has a 30-year history as a corporate doujinshi sales event organizer. Their concept revolves around “Creating books. Selling books. Buying books.” They aim to regularly supply doujin manga, which has limited distribution opportunities, and provide a space for mutual exchange among doujin creators.

In the past, events were held in various locations, but in recent years, the focus has been on medium to large-scale events in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka. They also coexist with other all-genre events such as Comic Live, organized by Studio YOU.

In recent years, they have organized project-oriented only events under the names “ZR Series (National Tournament)” and “Gijinka Kingdom.”
