Fujinomiya matsuri 2024
Fujiyoshida Festival (Fujinomiya Matsuri) is a collective term for events held in Fujiyoshida City, Shizuoka Prefecture, spanning three days from November 3rd to November 5th each year. The festival includes the procession of floats and stalls pulled by residents within the shrine parish, accompanied by the Fujiyoshida Hayashi, a folk performing art designated as an intangible cultural asset of Shizuoka Prefecture.
Until 2010 (Heisei 22), it was known as the Fujiyoshida Autumn Festival, but the name was changed to Fujiyoshida Festival in 2011 (Heisei 23).
