Gege Akutami Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition 2024 in SHIBUYA

“From July 6 to August 27, 2024, the first-ever large-scale original art exhibition for the popular manga-based anime ‘Jujutsu Kaisen,’ created by Gege Akutami, will take place. The exhibition, titled ‘Gege Akutami ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ Exhibition,’ was announced for the first time during the Jump Super Stage RED ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ stage at Jump Festa 2024, held on December 16, 2024.

The key visual for the exhibition featuring the main characters, ‘Yuji Itadori’ and ‘Sukuna Ryomen,’ has been revealed, and fans are eagerly anticipating the powerful original artwork ✨. Along with the announcement of the exhibition period, details about the official website and merchandise included in the ticket packages have also been unveiled.

Comment from Gege Akutami (From “Jump Festa 2024” at the “Jump Super Stage RED ‘Jujutsu Kaisen'”):

“As Jujutsu Kaisen is currently serialized, this is probably definitely the last Jump Festa for it. A solo exhibition of the original drawings is scheduled for next summer. Even though it’s called an original drawings exhibition, Jujutsu Kaisen is drawn digitally.

What will happen? After discussing with adults, we decided to make use of the remaining materials such as drafts and sketches. We aim to create an exhibition where people can think, ‘I might be able to draw manga too!’ We are currently in the midst of trial and error with the help of many adults. Good luck, adults!!
