Haikyu!! × Nebuta Festival & Sendai Tanabata Festival collaboration to be held from August 2, 2024!
The TV anime *Haikyuu!!*, based on the manga by Haruichi Furudate, is collaborating with two traditional summer festivals in Tohoku: the Aomori Nebuta Festival and the Sendai Tanabata Festival. This collaboration will run from August 2 to August 7, 2024.
The event will feature “Haikyuu!! Nebuta” floats and will also offer original collaboration merchandise, including chibi-style goods of characters such as Shoyo Hinata, Tobio Kageyama, Kei Tsukishima, Tetsurou Kuroo, and Kenma Kozume.
Additionally, from August 5 to August 19, 2024, JR Sendai Station and an online store will sell a special edition of Sendai’s famous confectionery, “Hagi no Tsuki,” to celebrate Kei Tsukishima and Tadashi Yamaguchi’s appointment as “Sendai Tourism Ambassadors.”
