“Carnation Doll*” (read as Hanadoll) is a CD series that includes both music and drama segments. The project was initiated in 2019 and is known for delving into intellectually stimulating content with themes that may be considered taboo.

“Carnation Doll*” is based on the “Hananingyo Project” (Flower Doll Project) introduced by Amemori Production in the idol industry. In this project, human potential is maximized by embedding special flower-shaped capsules into the human body through body modification. The goal is to artificially create ‘perfect’ idols with exceptional talents.

The unit name “Carnation Doll*” is derived from the Greek word meaning “flower.” In the context of the Hananingyo Project, it signifies a unit that is “growing from now on,” starting their activities not with a complete debut but as a “pre-debut” group.
