Hirugami Onsen peach blossom When 2024
Hirugami onsen and its surroundings are anticipated to see the flowering of peach blossoms around April 2024. Peach blossoms are expected to be in full bloom from mid-April to mid-May, showcasing approximately 10,000 blossoms in red, white, and pink hues.
To coincide with the blooming of peach blossoms, a Peach Blossom Festival is held at Hiruson Hot Springs. The 2023 festival concluded as the peach blossoms around Tsukigawa Hot Springs, the festival venue, had started to fall, indicating that the peak viewing period had passed.
In the village of Achi, the stretch of National Route 256 connecting Ina Valley and Kiso Valley is known as the “Hanamomo Kaido” or Peach Blossom Highway. Along both sides of this highway, about 5,000 peach trees are planted, with each branch displaying blossoms in three colors: red, white, and pink.
