The story of Suzu, a girl who lived bravely amidst the shadows of war,
returns to theaters starting August 1, 2025.
🌸 Synopsis
Hiroshima, Kure – 1945 (Showa 20).
Suzu, a talented young artist, marries into a family in Kure at the age of 18.
Despite the shortage of goods, she does her best to protect her everyday life.
But as the war escalates and Kure is hit with repeated air raids,
Suzu loses her most precious things one by one.
Still, her “way of life” continues.
