Izunuma lotus When 2024
In the largest lowland lake in Tohoku, “Izunuma-Innuma,” the “Lotus Festival” is held for about a month from late July to late August, coinciding with the blooming period of lotus flowers. During this period, visitors can take a small pleasure boat and get up close to the blooming lotus flowers covering the lake surface.
Lotus flowers bloom in the early morning and close during the day, so the best time to enjoy the full bloom is in the morning. Boat ride durations may vary depending on the condition of the lake, but it typically takes around 25 minutes.
