Kaiju No. 8 Exhibition – Niigata Venue 2025
Set in Japan, one of the countries with the highest kaiju occurrence rates, Kaiju No. 8 tells the story of Kafka Hibino, a 32-year-old man whose body transforms into a kaiju. Carrying his destiny, he strives to fulfill his dream of becoming a Defense Force officer in this thrilling action manga. The first-ever large-scale exhibition for this popular “new-age kaiju legend” is coming to Niigata!
The exhibition will feature approximately 120 framed illustrations of iconic scenes, the “Kaiju Hyakkei” (Kaiju Landscapes) series portraying everyday life with kaiju, and full-scale replicas of Defense Force gear and weapons. Through artwork, models, and immersive video presentations, the event offers an in-depth experience of the world of Kaiju No. 8. Attendees will take on the role of Defense Force cadets and explore a base-themed venue that brings this intense battle manga to life.
