Kanmon Strait Fireworks Festival 2025
The Kanmon Strait Fireworks Festival is held on both sides of the Kanmon Strait — in Shimonoseki City (Yamaguchi Prefecture) and Moji Ward, Kitakyushu City (Fukuoka Prefecture).
Originally a local event in Shimonoseki, it has been held as the “Asia Port Festival in KANMON” since 1988, representing the entire Kanmon region.
