Kawaguchiko Summer Fireworks 2024
The Lake Kawaguchi Water Festival, which has been held since Taisho 6 (1917), has become synonymous with summer at Lake Kawaguchi and is the largest fireworks festival among the summer festivals around the Fuji Five Lakes. Set against the majestic backdrop of Mount Fuji, the festival features musical fireworks and large-scale displays that beautifully reflect on the lake’s surface. On the eve of the festival, a 15-minute fireworks display is also held.
Highlights: On the day of the festival, after hosting major events, a grand fireworks display takes place. Even during the pre-festival night, there are creatively curated events.
