Kawasaki Penis Festival 2025
Kanayama Shrine, located within the grounds of Wakamiya Hachimangu in Kawasaki-ku, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture, is affectionately known as “Kanamara-sama.” The shrine is famous for hosting the “Kanamara Festival” on the first Sunday of every April—a unique celebration that attracts attention for its humorous and symbolic displays. In addition, the “Furnace Festival Talisman Ceremony” is held on November 1, featuring traditional blacksmith rituals and Kagura performances offered by smiths and metalworkers.
