Komoro Kaikoen Park Autumn Leaves When 2024
The peak time for autumn foliage at Komoro Castle Ruins Kanko-en (located in Komoro City, Nagano Prefecture) is typically from early to late November each year. The 2023 Autumn Foliage Festival was held from October 21 (Saturday) to November 19 (Sunday).
Situated at an elevation of 659 meters (at the Third Gate), Komoro Castle Ruins Kanko-en is renowned for its autumn colors. The garden features various trees, including Japanese maples (Momiji), cherry blossoms (Sakura), zelkovas (Keyaki), and ginkgos (Ichou). Particularly spectacular is the autumn foliage on the “Momiji Hill” next to the Fumimura Memorial Museum.
