Matsushima Sakura When 2024
The park is situated on a hill, offering a panoramic view of Matsushima Bay, with glimpses of Mount Kinka in the distance. Approximately 260 Somei Yoshino cherry trees within the park bloom splendidly from mid to late April. The contrast of pink cherry blossoms against the backdrop of the blue sea and green pine trees creates a stunning visual spectacle.
Highlights: Due to the varying elevations within the park, the scenery changes depending on the location. Exploring to find your favorite spot can be an enjoyable experience.
