Medalist x Sanrio Original Drawing Fair in Animate will be held from August 22, 2024!
The popular manga *Medalist* by Tsurumai Kada, which depicts the青春 of young people in figure skating, is collaborating with Sanrio Characters for a special pop-up store. This collaboration will feature exclusive merchandise based on 18 original illustrations by Tsurumai Kada. The pop-up store will be held from August 22 to September 29, 2024, at seven Animate stores and on Animate’s online store.
This collaboration marks the first time *Medalist* has teamed up with Sanrio Characters, ahead of its TV anime adaptation set to air in January 2025. Along with the merchandise, comments from Tsurumai Kada will be released alongside the original illustrations.
The participating Animate stores include Ikebukuro Main Store, Sendai Store, Sapporo Store, Nagoya Store, Kyoto Store, Fukuoka Parco Store, Osaka Nipponbashi Store, and the Animate online store.
