Mount Bizan Autumn leaves When 2024
Mount Himeyama Park, located in Tokushima City, Tokushima Prefecture, is renowned as a picturesque spot for autumn foliage. Trees such as Irohamomiji (Japanese maple), Dodantsutuji (Japanese spindle), and Nishikigi (Japanese beautyberry) turn vibrant shades of red, creating a beautiful landscape.
Designated as one of Tokushima’s 88 scenic spots, Mount Himeyama is famous not only for its autumn foliage but also for its cherry blossoms in spring and its night view. The mountain has a gentle and graceful shape resembling eyebrows, with an elevation of 290 meters.
The peak time to enjoy the autumn foliage in Mount Himeyama Park is around the end of November, with prominent species including Momiji (Japanese maple), Haze (Japanese witch hazel), and Icho (ginkgo).
Covering a vast area of 240,403 square meters, Mount Himeyama Park is a large park that features observation facilities and parking lots.
