Mt. Minobu Kuonji autumn leaves when 2024
The peak season for autumn foliage at Kugon-ji Temple on Mount Minobu is typically from late October to mid-November. Passing through the main gate and climbing the 287 stone steps, visitors can enjoy the vibrant autumn colors of Togashi-yama and Mount Minobu. The foliage is also delightful from the Sanmon Gate to the Gobyo.
In the area of Nishitani, just beyond the town gate passed through from the main gate, various sacred sites related to Kugon-ji are scattered. Here, you can witness the harmonious blend of red maple trees and evergreen cedars, creating a picturesque scene with beautiful autumn foliage.
