Nagasaki Minato Festival 2024
The Nagasaki Minato Festival is a major summer event held around Nagasaki Port. In 2024, it will take place on July 27 (Saturday) and 28 (Sunday). The venues include Nagasaki Mizube no Mori Park and Nagasaki Port in Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture.
The event features various activities such as stage performances, food and beverage stalls, and a fireworks display. The fireworks show, spanning two days, will launch a total of 10,000 fireworks. The schedule for the fireworks display is as follows:
- July 27 (Saturday) from 20:30 to 20:50
- July 28 (Sunday) from 20:45 onwards
The Nagasaki Minato Festival originated as part of the Nagasaki Port Opening Commemorative Association’s activities and held its first edition in 1930 (Showa 5).
