Naritasan Shinshoji Temple Autumn leaves When 2024

Naritasan Park, located within the expansive grounds of Naritasan Shinshoji Temple, is a large park covering approximately 165,000 square meters. Cherished by Naritasan visitors and local residents alike, it serves as a tranquil retreat where one can appreciate the changing seasons.

During the peak autumn foliage season from mid-November to early December, around 250 vibrant maple, ginkgo, and oak trees offer a spectacular display. Particularly popular for capturing the beauty of autumn leaves, areas around the Naritasan Calligraphy and Art Museum and the Ryuchi Pond provide picturesque spots for photography. The reflections of the foliage on the pond’s surface create an elegant ambiance, allowing visitors to experience a leisurely passage of time. The sloping walking paths offer a dynamic landscape that undergoes rapid changes with every step.

Highlighted Event: From November 11th (Saturday) to November 26th (Sunday), 2024, the “Naritasan Park Autumn Leaves Festival” will take place. During weekends throughout this period, visitors can enjoy events such as concerts and tea ceremonies.
