Okayama Korakuen Garden Autumn leaves When 2024
Enjoy the enchanting beauty of an imaginary autumn garden at one of Japan’s top three famous gardens located in Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture. Within the expansive feudal lord’s garden, a highly recommended spot is the “Chishio no Mori,” a picturesque forest where the changing leaves create a tapestry of vibrant colors. The term “Chishio” means to dye repeatedly, symbolizing the evolving hues of autumn, and it has been affectionately known by this name since the garden was created approximately 300 years ago. Don’t miss the captivating sights around Yushinzan and Hanaha no Ike (Flower Leaf Pond).
Highlights of the Garden This year, a special evening event called “Fantasy Garden of Autumn” will take place from November 15 (Friday) to November 24 (Sunday) in 2024. The event will be held from 17:00 to 20:30 (last entry at 20:00).
