Osaka Castle Park Cherry Blossoms
The usual peak viewing period for cherry blossoms in Osaka Castle Park is from late March to mid-April. In 2022, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom around March 28 to April 8.
In 2023, the “Osaka Castle Spring Festival 2023” took place from February 20 (Monday) to mid-April. A special evening cherry blossom viewing event, “Kansakura Naita” (Night Sakura Viewing), was held in the Osaka Castle Nishinomaru Garden from March 24 (Friday) to April 9 (Sunday).
One of the highlights of cherry blossom viewing in Osaka Castle Park is the Ume Grove, where approximately 1235 plum trees compete in blooming.
