Description
To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Yoshitoshi ABe’s career as an artist, a commemorative original artwork exhibition will be held.
Focusing on his representative works such as serial experiments lain, Haibane Renmei, TEXHNOLYZE, and NieA_7, the exhibition showcases his artistic journey over three decades.
Visitors will find a wide collection of rare original materials including concept sketches and setting art from the 1990s to present, alongside life-size new illustrations such as “Rei from Shibuya”, and special processed works using advanced printing techniques.
A 30-year circular journey of characters and creations continually influencing each other—
And by unearthing his past, ABe invites us to rediscover a personal “return point”.
Special new illustrations and exclusive merchandise will also be available, with additional events planned.
