Saijo Matsuri 2024
西条祭り（Saijo Matsuri） is an autumn festival held in Saijo City, which is part of the former Saijo City area before the municipal merger in Heisei 16 (2004). The festival encompasses the celebrations of four shrines within the pre-merger Saijo City boundaries. On posters and promotional materials, it is often referred to as “Saijo Matsuri.”
It’s worth noting that the Saijo Festival itself has been designated as Intangible Folk Cultural Property No. 85 of Saijo City, recognized for its significance as a traditional festival featuring various events and stalls.
