Sandankyo Gorge autumn leaves when 2024
The combination of waterfalls and autumn foliage at Sandankyo in Hiroshima Prefecture is truly breathtaking. To reach places like the Three-stage Waterfall, there is a convenient walking trail from the shores of the Sacred Lake.
In the middle of Sandankyo, you’ll find attractions like the Three-stage Waterfall, Saruhi (Monkey Leap), Ni-dan Taki (Two-stage Waterfall), and Kurobuuchi. Among them, the Three-stage Waterfall is a spectacular cascade spanning 120 meters in three stages. The autumn foliage at Sandankyo begins to display vibrant colors from the inner side, creating a breathtaking landscape when combined with the waterfalls.
