STAGE『Spirited Away』2024 Fukuoka

In March 2022, the stage production of “Spirited Away” had its world premiere at the Imperial Theatre. Already announced is the decision to commence a nationwide tour in Japan, starting with performances at the Imperial Theatre in March 2024, followed by the first overseas production in London’s West End from April 2024. The production is a collaboration between Toho Co., Ltd. and PW Productions.

The role of Chihiro will be played by Kanna Hashimoto, Mone Kamishiraishi, Rina Kawaei, and Momoko Fukuchi. Haku will be portrayed by Kotaro Daigo, Hironori Miura (not participating in the Imperial Theatre performances), and Atsuki Masuko (GENIC). The roles of No-Face will be performed by Kaito Moriyama, Kenta Ogamo, Hikaru Yamano, and Ken Nakagawa. Lin/Yu-baaba will be played by Fū Hikai, Yūki Hana, and Rino Jitsaki. Kamaji will be portrayed by Tomorowo Taguchi, Satoshi Hashimoto (not participating in the Imperial Theatre performances), and Tōmu Miyazaki. Yubaba/Zeniba will be performed by Mari Natsuki, Rumi Park, Asaki Hano, and Hitomi Harukaze. The roles of the brother/Chihiro’s father will be played by Kenya Osumi and Keisuke Hori. The father will be portrayed by Naoki Yoshimura and Toshihiko Ito. The frog will be played by O-ba’s older brother and Seiya Motoki.

A total of 78 cast members will participate, rotating between performances at the Imperial Theatre, Minami-za, Hakata-za, London Coliseum, Umeda Arts Theatre Main Hall, and Sapporo Cultural Arts Theatre hitaru. The schedule, cast, cast rotation, and ticket information for the first performance in 2024 at the Imperial Theatre have been officially announced on the website.
