Stage “Touken Ranbu” Shinden Tsuketari Kitan no Soma-to

The stage adaptation series “Touken Ranbu,” based on the game “Touken Ranbu ONLINE” and crafted by Kenichi Suemitsu for scriptwriting and direction, began with its debut in May 2016 with “Kuden Moyuru Honnoji.” The series has seen various forms of performances, including revivals, outdoor shows, and even productions in a 360-degree rotating theater. In 2022, the main performance of “Kiden” took an unconventional dialogue play format, and in 2023, the series presented the unique “Guden Mujun Genji Monogatari.” With a total of 15 productions, the latest installment, “Shinden Tsuketari Kitan no Soma-to,” is scheduled for 2024.

The series, known for its profound and emotional stories, visually stunning portrayal of distinctive swordsmen, and powerful choreography, has garnered broad support through theater attendance, live viewings, live streaming, and Blu-ray/DVD releases. In 2021, various events celebrated the 5th anniversary, highlighting the cleverly woven foreshadowing throughout the series and generating anticipation for future developments.
