The Artist: Yoshikazu Yasuhiko Exhibition 2025 Hokkaido: Tomakomai Venue
This retrospective exhibition looks back on the creative career of Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, renowned as the character designer and animation director for Mobile Suit Gundam, as well as an accomplished manga artist. Born in Engaru, Hokkaido as the third generation of pioneer settlers, Yasuhiko was involved in the student movement during his university days before moving to Tokyo, where he entered the animation industry and later transitioned to become a manga artist. The exhibition will reflect on his eventful life and career, showcasing many materials that will be publicly displayed for the first time in the world.

Mondays (except July 21 and August 11 when the museum will be open)
Also closed on Tuesday, July 22 and Tuesday, August 12
Opening Hours:
9:30 AM – 5:00 PM
On Saturday, July 26 and from Tuesday, August 26 to Saturday, August 30, the museum will have extended evening hours until 8:00 PM.
Last admission is 30 minutes before closing time.
